Spaziergang im Englischen Garten

Der Englische Garten ist einer der größten innerstädtischen Parkanlagen der Welt. Isarwasser fließt in kleinen Bächen durch den Park. Einer ist der Eisbach, an dessen Beginn eine stehende Welle Wellenreiter aus der ganzen Welt anzieht.

The Englische Garten in Munich is one of the largest urban public parks in the world. Some small streams with water from the main river Isar are flowing the park. The largest stream is the Eisbach at its beginning a standing wave attracts surfers from all over the world.

Die Bäume werfen ihre ersten Blätter ab. Und wenn sich im Bach eine Ast zwischen Steinen verhakt, bleiben die Blätter einfach hängen.

Zwei Frauen am Strand - Two at the Beach

Jeder hat ein anderes Empfinden, was die Temperatur betrifft. Mit dem Wind ist es wärmer und gegen den Wind ist man über ein wenig mehr Kleidung glücklich.

Diese Bild wurde aus drei unterschiedlichen Fotos komponiert, alle am Strand von Jesolo entstanden.

Everyone has a different feeling about the temperature. With the wind it is warmer and against the wind one is happy about a little more clothing.

This one is a combination of 3 photos I took once in Jesolo.

Blick über die Dächer

Along the Tappeinerweg you have a wonderful view of Merano, the Adige Valley and the mountains. Pine trees, cork oaks, eucalyptus and many other plants exude a wonderful scent.

Entlang des Tappeinerwegs hat man überall einen herrlichen Ausblick auf Meran, das Etschtal, die Berge. Pinien, Himalajazedern, Korkeichen, Eukalyptus und viele andere Pflanzen verströmen einen herrlichen Duft.

April in Paris

April in Paris - ein legendärer Song - a Legendary Song

Laut Wikipedia ein Jazzstandard, der in 1932 für das Musical 'Walk a Little Faster' geschrieben wurde. Hier interpretiert von Ella Fitzgerald und Louis Armstrong - wunderbar: Am liebsten würde man sich gleich in den TGV nach Paris setzen und dort in der warmen Frühlingssonne durch die Straßen streifen....

Learning from Wikipedia 'April in Paris' is a Jazz standard, which was written in 1932 für the musical 'Walk a Little Faster'. Here Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong are interpreting it - incredible: you would like to go immediately to Paris by TGV and strolling in the warm sun of spring....

Der Betrachter als Star

Der Skandal, das Stadtgespräch als Sensation

Ein Missgeschick, ein Unfall oder ein Promi - alles Themen für den Boulevardjournalismus und deren Fotografen, die Paparazzi. Ein sehr tragisches Opfer dieser Jagd nach Sensationen war Prinzessin Diana. Ihr wird derzeit eine Ausstellung in London gewidmet, mit den Outfits ihrer frühen braven Jahre bis zum Glamour als Stilikone.

Die Ausstellung ist 2 Jahre lang im Kensignton Palace, London zu sehen.

A misfortune, an accident or a celebrity - all topics for the tabloid journalism and their photographers, the Paparazzi.
A very tragic victim of this hunt for sensations was Princess Diana. She is currently devoted to an exhibition in London, showing the outfits of her early decent years until the glamor as a style icon.

The exhibition is open now and runs throughout 2017 at Kensignton Palace, London.

Was die Nacht bringt

Wien bei Nacht

Untertags locken die Kaffeehäuser in Wien, die Museen oder der Naschmarkt. Den Abend startet man mit einer Sightseeing Tour mit der Tram, so heißt dort die Straßenbahn. Mit der Tram also den Ring entlang, vorbei an der Staatsoper, der Hofburg, dem Parlament, Rathaus - alles herrlich beleuchtet. Danach geht es weiter in Wiens Nachtleben - die zwei Frauen auf der Bank am Schottentor diskutieren die Möglichkeiten....

Vienna by Night

During the day the caffee shops, the museums or the Naschmarkt attract the visiters in Vienna. The evening should start with a sightseeing tour by the tram, going along the Ring, the famouse boulevard: passing the opera, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the Town Hall - all wonderfully illuminated. Afterwards we continue to Vienna's nightlife - the two women on the bench at station Schottentor discuss the possibilities ....

Winter in Kanada

Einmal im Leben nach Kanada, das ist der Traum jedes Skifahrers

Bereits über einen Meter Neuschnee soll dort bereits liegen. In Banff, in den Rocky Mountains gelegen, wohl doch weniger. Also, den Traum noch ein wenig verschieben und sich auf den Schnee in den Alpen freuen, der ab morgen kommen wird.

Once in a lifetime to Canada, that is the dream of every skier

Already more than a meter of snow is currently in Canada. In Banff in the Rocky Mountains probably less. So, move the dream a bit and look forward to the snow in the Alps coming from tomorrow on.
