Cows are most beautiful, just for me. Whatching them at the foothills of the Alps is like a meditation.

DAS KLEINE FORMAT

In der Serie KLEINES FORMAT sind die Motive meist im städtischen Kontext,
der Mensch rückt in den Vordergrund. Diese Überhöhung negiert jedoch das
kleine Format der Leinwände (40x30 cm).
Zu sehen waren beide Bilder in meiner Ausstellung 'DIE LETZTEN JAHRE' im Ärztehaus Harlaching, Isenschmidstr. 19, 81545 München (Finissage war am 11.02.2012, 15 - 17 Uhr).

In the serial 'The Small Painting' the particular attention is paid to urban themes. The human being comes to the fore but negated through the small format of the canvas (15.8 x 11.8 inch).

Both paintings wereshown in my show at Ärztehaus Harlaching, Isenschmidstr. 19, 81545 München (closing event was at 11.02.2012, 15-17 Uhr).

Vanilla Lounge - 2011

Es gibt Orte in München, die kennt jeder - wie dieses Motiv an der Münchner Freiheit. Die Vanilla Lounge und die angrenzenden Cafés und Läden, die flanierenden Menschen und die Bäume bilden ein typisches Bild von München.

Some places in Munich are specific - like this view at Münchner Freiheit. The coffee shop and bar Vanilla Lounge, the shops closeby, some strolling people and the trees: a characteristic view of Munich.

DIE LETZTEN JAHRE - THE RECENT YEARS

In der Ausstellung DIE LETZTEN JAHRE sind 32 Bilder seit 2008 zu sehen: die Serien STADT und MENSCH zeigen Szenen des urbanen Kontextes – den Stadtalltag . Im KLEINES FORMAT rückt der Mensch in den Vordergrund.

In the exhibition THE RECENT YEARS, 32 paintings created since 2008 are: the series TOWN and PEOPLE show scenes of the urban context. In the SMALL FORMAT, the humen beeing is in the center.
